About Virtual Dreamland

Virtual Dreamland first started as a Neocities website; I had hoarded my URL 6 months prior, but didn't launch my first web page until March 21st, 2023. I had grown bored of both mainstream social media services as well as my tendency to merely be a spectator in online spaces and wanted to actually create my own hideaway for once.

When I was growing up, the internet was the only place available for me to freely roam. I saw many incredible, creative personal and fan sites over the years, almost all of which are now defunct. It was always my dream to have my own personal website, but my lack of self-confidence held me back; I didn't think I was capable of doing it. Now I see that's far from the truth, and I've made one of my lifelong dreams come true. If I can do it, so can you! ☆
